Amid major anxiety, Marti Cifuentes makes a "tough" admission about Leicester City after Coventry.

Marti Cifuentes, the manager of Leicester City, has expressed his annoyance at his team's inability to convert one of their three significant opportunities to defeat Coventry City.

City failed to score against their rivals even though they had the most chances and forced Coventry goalkeeper Carl Rushworth to make several saves.
When Jordan Ayew picked Stephy Mavididi out early in the second half, he missed the game's most important opportunity. He let the ball pass over his body before Rushworth made a great save on his right-footed attempt.

Early on in his first start for the team, Jordan James had a chance to score, but Julian Carranza's header at the back post was unfortunate. Following the goalless draw, Cifuentes stated that his team ought to have taken advantage of one of their three easy opportunities.
He remarked, "[I'm] never happy with a draw," "We definitely felt like we had a chance to win three points, but we also faced a strong opponent.

"The first twenty to twenty-five minutes were excellent, and we got off to a strong start in the second half. All in all, Stephy, Julian, and JJ [James] had three excellent chances to score at least one goal. We lost while we were building up in the second half, and they had one too.

"It was a game against a tough team that felt some improvement in our performance, but at the same time, [we have] that feeling, after a draw away, we needed the three points."

"Yeah, of course it's frustrating [but] I would be more concerned if we weren't creating chances and were flat in the last third," he remarked when asked whether he was annoyed by his team's lack of clinical edge in the closing third. That is not true.

Since the players are making a lot of effort and I can see how they are training, it is my responsibility to keep us getting better. It's a dedicated team, and we improved in many areas of our game today.

"Now, football is not just about deserving but achieving so in the future we definitely need to make the difference and take the chances."
